The Indy Opinion - The IndyCast Poll Site

Welcome to the IndyCast Mola Ram voice-off competition. It is time to find out which member of the IndyCast universe does the best impression of the Thuggee high priest. No, we don't want you to rip out anyone's heart or lower them into a pit of burning lava! We just want to hear who can most closely approximate the unique voice of the villain who called the temple of doom home!

Each contestant must record and submit an mp3 of their best impression of Mola Ram, using any line of his dialogue from Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom. Submit your mp3 by emailing it to rob@theindyopinion.com. Please include your name and general location. All submissions must be received by Friday, July 30th, 2010. They will air on the ensuing episode of the IndyCast and then be posted on this site.

Contestants will be voted on in polls. Each poll will include up to 10 contestants. If we have 20 entries, for example, there will be 2 polls to vote on with 10 names each, 30 entries would mean 3 polls, etc. If there are more than 10 entries and multiple polls must be used, then the total number of votes received by each contestant will be calculated to determine the winner. Voters will cast their ballot for the best overall impression among all the contestants. Entries will be listed anonymously, with each impression assigned a number. Names will not be given out until after the end of the competition, to try to avoid anyone skewing the numbers. Please don't try to stuff the ballot or skew the voting by casting multiple votes from different computers, let's keep it a fair fight! We do not want a repeat of the controversy from the Connery competition!!!! If there is any hint of foul play, the poll will be closed immediately.

Voting will begin on Monday, August 9th and continue through Friday, August 20th. The winner receives the acclaim that comes with victory (pssssh) and a special IndyCast prize, courtesy of The Indy Opinion.

The most important rule of the competition: enjoy it! This should be a lot of fun! And make sure you keep track of what's happening by listening to every episode of the IndyCast!
